What is a natal chart?
A natal (birth) chart shows planetary positions at the moment you were born: signs, houses, aspects, and chart ruler. It is used for personality analysis, life path, forecasts, compatibility, and timing.
How to calculate a natal chart online for free?

Why is exact birth time important?
The Ascendant and house cusps change every 2–4 hours. Even 15 minutes can shift the reading. Check your birth certificate or civil records if unsure.
Western astrology vs Jyotish?
Western (tropical) uses the zodiac from the spring equinox; more psychological. Jyotish (sidereal) uses star positions with precession; more predictive and karmic. Signs may differ by ~23°.

What are houses?
Twelve life areas (self, money, communication, home, creativity, work, partnerships, transformation, beliefs, career, community, inner life) show where planetary energies manifest.
What is a retrograde planet?
Marked “Rx”, it suggests inward processing, review, and karmic themes for that planet’s topics (Mercury, Venus, Mars, or outer planets).
What are aspects?
Angles between planets: conjunction, sextile, square, trine, opposition — harmonious or challenging links between energies.
What are lunar nodes?
North Node — growth direction; South Node — past talents and habits. They describe a karmic life path theme.
Numerology
What is the life path number?
Sum all digits of your birth date and reduce to one digit (1–9), or master numbers 11, 22, 33. It reflects mission and main life direction.
What is the destiny matrix?
A 9-cell numerological map of character, health, talents, money, family, logic, intuition, career, and will — built from your birth date.
Karmic numbers 11, 22, 33?
Master numbers with stronger potential: 11 — intuition; 22 — building; 33 — teaching and service.

What is a solar return?
A chart for the moment the Sun returns to its natal position (~birthday). It themes the coming year.
How do transits work?
